Don't be shy, offer a drink!

Easy going date Story by DanielDuvett

I

met Kim in a bar. She caught my eye because of her unusually long, dark hair. I really like long hair. She was there with her friend, who also got 'attention' from the other guys, so it wasn't uncomfortable for Kim to chat with me. I bought her a drink, but she insisted on paying for it herself. That was funny, and new to me!

I said I will be going home, and asked for her number. Instead, she asked if I have any drinks at home.

We had quite a few drinks after that, sitting on a really comfy coach, music was great, and people beautiful. I was having the best night ever. She was beautiful, happy, full of life. We talked so much, for hours. When I got slightly tipsy, she (finally!) kissed me. Now, I'm not the biggest fan of intimacy in public places, so I did my best to engage her in more conversation. But when it started getting really late, I said I will be going home, and asked for her number. Instead, she asked if I have any drinks at home. Now, that was a dream come true.

I did have a bottle of wine at home, but we only managed to drink few sips. The night ended up in bed, and it was a really, really nice date.

We met several times for a few more weeks. We somehow lost contact and did not speak for quite some time.

What I’ve learned with this date

From now on I always make sure I have some booze in the fridge, before I go out.
