    It depends. I wouldn't be particularly comfortable telling people I met my boyfriend on Tinder, for instance. But then again, that's because, as a female, things are different. I get to be called a slut, while guys get a pat on the back and a well done!

    Are there people who are anxious about it? Nowadays, technology is a huge part of dating.

    That's true, Juta. However conservative societies (for example Catholic Spain) can be harsh with online dating. Even among young people. It's maybe because they are not familiar with it.

    Amsterdam is totally open minded on these subjects. I think, people use massively technology and online dating sites or apps. Don't forget that Amsterdam is one of the most liberated (sexually) places in Europe and in the world probably.

    it's not as taboo as it might have been 10 or 20 years ago. it seems like nearly everyone is using online dating.

    It is not taboo but a person should be careful. I have had some bad dating experiences in regards to dating sites such as Plentyoffish.
